Where can I download eZmax Version 4+?

You can go to https://ezmax.ca/en/training-and-support/download to download eZmax Version 4+.

Will all our old files be transferred to the new version?

Yes, absolutely!

How will I know when this version will be deployed at our agency?

Your agency will inform you as soon as the deployment is done.

Can the app be downloaded on a Samsung?

The app is still in BETA version on Android phones, but its official release is coming soon. You can either wait for the announcement by subscribing to our communications or contact our support team if you’d like to try the BETA version, which is functional but not yet fully finalized.

Will our personal document templates be kept after the eZsign update?

Yes, absolutely!

If an error was made in the phone number and the client is logged into eZsign, do we still have to wait 20 minutes for them to be logged out before we can edit the information?

Thank you for your question! You can force the user to log out in order to make the change immediately, without having to wait 20 minutes.

I notice that the templates still seem designed for two buyers and two sellers. Are you planning an update to allow the quick addition of signatures for buyers 3 and 4 without having to enter them manually?

This request has been submitted and will be taken into account. We are currently working on a redesign of the templates for the new eZsign to integrate some adjustments, and this improvement will be part of it.

Can we test this version with only a few agents in the agency before rolling it out to everyone?

No, the transition must be made for all agents at the same time. However, you can try the new version for free by visiting https://www.ezsign.ca and clicking on "Sign Up" at the top right. It’s important to note that documents added to this trial account will not be transferred to your regular eZsign account.

Is there a feature to add initials to all pages?

Certainly! This feature is included in the express icons. We will present it at the next webinar!

Does version 4+ refer to version 4.6.6?

Yes, any version starting with "4" is part of the "4+" version we are referring to.

What does the “Step” option mean at the top next to “Active Document”?

Thank you for your question. These are the steps you can select for the field you are adding.

Will it be possible to have longer folder names?

Your folder name can be up to 75 characters long.

How do I select the box when I need to add a BO number?

Use the annotation tool to check the box. (A tutorial will be available soon.)

Can we access the new eZsign without downloading the app?

If your agency uses eZmax for document management and accounting, the app download is required. However, if you’re only using eZsign, web access is possible.

Can we change the default signing method? Currently, as an agent, eZsign is selected by default. Is it possible to set email instead?

If you want to sign by email, you need to add yourself as an external signer and select email authentication.

Does the Mac version work the same as on PC?

Yes, the app provides the same experience on all devices.

I have signatures to make right now, how do I proceed?

As usual, the new eZsign is not yet deployed. Your agency will inform you as soon as it is.

When hovering over an annotation with the mouse, is it possible to display details such as the date and time it was added? For example, if the “buyer’s signature” is already present but the “notary’s date” was forgotten, shouldn’t the agent be prevented from editing this information?

No, an annotation cannot be clicked like an electronic signature to show the author and creation date. However, by checking the document history in the signature panel, you can see that the annotation was added after the initial signature, after reintegration of the document into eZsign, and before the next signature.

Thus, even though the annotation cannot be clicked directly, the signature history allows identifying who added it and when in the signing process.

Is it possible to have a training platform for new agents without creating a new profile?

No, but you can try it for free by signing up at www.ezsign.ca. Click "Sign Up" at the top right to create a demo account. However, note that documents uploaded in this account will not be accessible from your regular eZsign account.
